Presentation of Irish Flag and Proclamation

On Wednesday the 7th of October two members of the Air Corps came to visit our school. They presented our school with the Irish Flag and a copy of the Proclamation to commemorate the 1916 Rising. Next March we will raise the flag outside our school. This will be done in all schools around the country. It was a very exciting day. 2nd Class children asked the Air Corps some very interesting questions about their job and what they do every day. Mr. Morris was very proud of all the children.
