Robotics in First class with Think Big Space (Ms McDermots class)
Our students love to explore the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths (STEAM) disciplines. We were so lucky to have Vincent from Think Big Space in partnership with Amazon visit our school today. He delivered a Lego robotics workshop to our class and we got the chance to plan, build, problem solve, code and engineer with our own robots.
One of the class described the session as ‘better than going on a school trip!’ Needless to say a fantastic fun learning time was had by all.

Bringing STEAM to life with a range of Fun, Hands-On, Engaging workshops.
65% of today’s students will be employed in jobs that don’t exist yet. Think Big Space introduction to robotics workshops will give students an insight into the role of robotics in our world.
Working with a variety of the world’s leading educational resources, students will be introduced to the world of robotics by building and programming robots to complete various challenges. Students design, construct and modify robots, developing technical skills that are much sought after in the STEAM industry. They will also program their robots to carry out specific tasks, developing workflow skills, learning about logic, loops, switches, blocks and more
