October in Ms.McDermot’s Senior Infants

We had a very busy month with Maths week activities, GAA with coach Ava, Climate Action Week, Halloween, Feel Good Friday, drama with a theatre group, community singing maths games with 2nd class and lots more! We learned about pumpkins, weighed and measured different ones and even made our own dissolving pumpkins for a science experiment. We ate bairín breac and found a ring, made chocolate apples and carved a pumpkin. We went on a spooky hunt around the garden and followed the spooky trail around the school. On the last day we had a Halloween party with games and costumes.
