January and February in First class (Ms McDermot)

2024 has been great fun so far! We made pancakes, planted lettuce seeds, grew Spring flowers and baked a cake. We celebrated Valentine’s Day, learned how to sew felt love hearts and used our new skills to make cards, we blew bubbles and enjoyed lots of sensory play. Pat from Heritage In Schools brought us birdwatching, we tried out our new bee bot accessories, learned about Kenya and how to help our planet. We had Maths 4 Fun in class, dyed paper to make pictures of snowmen in the northern lights, celebrated 100 days of school, Chinese New Year and lots lots more!
