Hi everyone and welcome to Fun Learning week 1 - this week we are looking at Fine Motor Skills.
Fine motor skills involve the small muscles of the body that provide movements in areas such as the hands, fingers and eyes. They are also responsible for the coordination between these areas i.e. hand and eye coordination.
Fine motor skills are involved in smaller movements that occur in the wrists, hands, fingers, feet and toes. They involve smaller actions such as picking up objects between the thumb and finger, writing carefully, and even blinking.
