First Class 100 days in school

Ms. Fox's first class had a great day celebrating our 100th day of school. We created our own 100th day sweet shop and filled sweet jars to make 100 sweets.

We also went on a hunt around the classroom to find things we could use to make sets of 10 and have 100 items. In pairs we wrote 100 words that we knew. We had a great discussion about what we would like to be and have done by the time we are 100 then we drew our own self portraits of what we would look like by the time we are 100. As a final treat we made cupcakes and designed them with the number 100. A timer was set and we counted how many jumping jacks we could do in 100 seconds, one child did 115 jumping jacks. Then we ran on the spot for 100 seconds. We loved celebrating our 100th day in First Class.
