Doodle Families Week 1
Welcome to Week 1 of Doodle Families - a Family Literacy Programme aimed at offering children and parents a space to engage with literacy in a fun way. This programme is about finding fun ways to help your child’s literacy development at home and will give you lots of ideas for activities that you and your child can enjoy together.
This week we are looking at Learning Styles – both yours and your child’s. The Learning Style questionnaire will enable you to see what kind of learner you are – visual, auditory or kinaesthetic.
For more information on learning styles, here is a short youtube video which explains it in more detail –

There is a visual arts activity from week one of the Doodle Diary which we did today in school. This is a worksheet in the shape of a phone and we drew a selfie and write things we liked about ourselves!.
Finally, there is a book for you both to share and keep – The Biggest Story. We have read this in class today!
We would love to see photos of your work from home so feel free to share them on SeeSaw or send them to me at the number or email above.
