Climate Action Week

We had great fun for Climate Action Week filled with lots of activities. We focused on the story of "Handa's Surprise." The kids wrote about the story, they got to try the fruits from the story and played a taste test. We also got an African drumming lesson and went on a scavenger hunt in the garden to look for the animals Handa met. We made a Climate action tree to come up with tips for how to help the environment, made a climate action pledge and did beautiful paintings of Handa's fruit basket!
