What a busy December it has been in Ms. Boland's 2nd Class!
We have been very busy creating lots of fantastic Christmas Art.
We learned how to draw Rudolph and gave him a sparkly red nose to help him guide Santa's sleigh.
We painted a yummy Christmas Pudding with some glitter holly.
We became elves and wrote about all the tricks and trouble we would get up to if we were elves for a day!
We wrote Santa letters with Ms. Ryan. We have also been learning how to write diamante poems with Ms. Ryan. We wrote some poems about Santa and Christmas Trees.
In December we also began some procedural writing with instructions for How to Decorate a Christmas Tree.
We decorated and created some fantastic ornaments for our school and class Christmas Trees.
We learned how to draw a Christmas Tree and we used paint to design it.
We also made some Christmas Cards for our friends in 2nd Class.
It has been a busy and fun time in 2nd Class.
