Baking scones with Mrs. Hughes!

Mrs. Hughes was in again today and it was the Junior Infants from Room 2 who were the lucky ones.

We learned what ingredients and utensils are needed to make chocolate chip scones, so we can make them ourselves at home :-)

We helped to mix and cut out the scones, then we waited patiently while the scones browned nicely in the oven.

Everybody thought they were delicious and ate them all up (some children came back for seconds, and thirds!).  Yum! Yum!
