Gardening with Ms. Ryan in 2nd Class

The boys and girls in Ms. Boland's class were busy gardening with Ms. Ryan this week. A few weeks ago they helped Ms. Ryan to sow Radish seeds and they have been very busy looking after them by weeding and watering the bed. 

Last week we were delighted that the radishes were ready to harvest from the bed. We helped Ms. Ryan to pick the radishes from the bed. We washed them, sliced them and tried them. They tasted very peppery but we all tried them.
