Flag Raising and Egg Hunting!

We had a lovely but busy few days before our Easter holidays. On Tuesday we raised our national flag along with all other Primary Schools and Secondary schools in the country. The flag raising is to commemorate the 1916 Easter Rising. We celebrated with Irish dancing, Song Singing and poetry. Some children read the 1916 Proclamation and the children in Senior Infants made up their own proclamation for a future Ireland.

On Wednesday we went to the garden for our Infant Easter Egg Hunt - we had lots of fun! Happy Easter everyone!
